The Antigonish Golf Club is located on the outskirts of the Town of Antigonish – the Highland Heart of Nova Scotia. The town is approximately 225 kilometers (130 miles) east of Halifax, Nova Scotia’s capital, and 230 kilometers (138 miles) southeast of the Nova Scotia-New Brunswick border along Nova Scotia’s Sunrise Trail.
Antigonish Golf Club is looking for a committed Assistant Golf Professional to join our team! The selected candidate will work 5 to 6 days per week during the peak golf season from May to October.

Responsibilities include supporting club operations, aiding with the junior program, facilitating leagues, overseeing corporate tournaments, supervising support staff, and managing pro shop duties, among other club functions.
- Responsibilities

- Conducting lessons
- Handling daily club operations Including:
- Customer check-ins and ensuring high levels of service.
- Supervising outside services staff Managing merchandising and maintaining the pro shop area.
- Controlling and managing inventory.
- Organizing and running a league.
- Ensuring all staff comply with club policies and procedures.
- Reporting to the Manager of Golf Operations.
- Demonstrating strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Upholding a well-respected and professional image within the club, industry, and community.
- Being proficient in all computer programs, including Lightspeed and Golf Genius.
- Qualifications

- PGA of Canada member in good standing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outgoing and energetic personality with a willingness to grow as a professional.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Compensation

- $800 - $900 weekly based on experience
