- Job Summary
- The Wascana Country Club is seeking the services of a highly motivated Assistant Professional for the 2025 golf season. The successful candidate will have a leadership role in the golf shop and must be able to provide the high level of service expected by our members and guests.
- Responsibilities
-
Assistant Professional Responsibilities consist of but not limited to:
- Schedule and manage the Member Service Team
- Schedule and manage the Course Ambassador Program
- Assist in the receipt, display, inventory control, promotion and sales of merchandise
- Provide excellent communication, customer service, professional advice and assistance to all members and guests
- Assist with the co-ordination of Members Events and Men’s, Ladies and Senior’s days
- Oversee the daily tee times, ensure guest check-in and golf cart fee collection and maintain the pace of play on the course
- Conduct and maintain a professional image and manner at all times
- Help organize and promote all club activities and services
- Assist with Junior Golf Program
- Qualifications

- Member of the PGA of Canada in good standing
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Highly effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong merchandising and retail skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to work in a team environment, with a positive attitude
- Available to work all shifts
- Compensation
- Salary $3,700-$4,200 monthly, based on experience
