Located in the heart of Edmonton’s River Valley, Royal Mayfair Golf Club is seeking the right individual to join the Professional Staff.
Over the past century, the Mayfair has played host to several notable events, including the Canadian Open, the Canadian PGA Championship, and the LPGA CN Canadian Women’s Open twice. A new state-of-the-art clubhouse opened in 2023, marking an exciting time at the club. Staff and alumni have continually ascended their careers in the golf business during their time at Royal Mayfair.

- Reporting to the Head Golf Professional, the Apprentice/Assistant Golf Professional will play an integral role in providing our members and their guests with the highest level of service. Royal Mayfair Golf Club operates as a team environment, and as such, each team member will play a pivotal role in providing our members and their guests with a great experience. We support the personal and professional development of all our staff.
- Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties, along with other duties consistent with a high-end private golf experience.
- Providing an unparalleled level of customer service
- Daily operations including tee-time management & pace of play
- Implementation and execution of club events & leagues
- Supervision of the Member Services staff
- Assisting with retail sales including club fitting
- Qualifications

The successful candidate will likely possess the following skills:
- PGA of Canada Member
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong desire to grow as a Golf Professional
- Experience within a Private Golf Club setting
- Familiarity with Golf Genius Tournament Software
- Compensation

- $3600-4000/month salary commensurate with experience
- 90% of lesson revenue
