- Job Summary
- The Assistant Professional will play an integral role not only within our team, but to help conduct club events, tournaments, and junior programming, while engaging with members through regular play. Daily responsibilities include assisting Golf Operations team, maintaining the professional shop, enforcing play restrictions, and providing exceptional service to members and their guests.
- Responsibilities

- Be an integral contributor, and help organize Club Events, Leagues, and Tournaments.
- Assist in Junior Programming including weekly Programs, Events, Clinics and Camps.
- Follow day-to-day procedures as provided from the Club and the Director of Golf.
- Assist Golf Operations Team with any tasks that may occur.
- Play golf with the Members on a regular basis.
- Understand the Play restrictions, member categories as set out by the Club and enforce these rules or policies.
- Maintain a neat work environment in the Professional Shop.
- High visibility to incoming Members and Guests.
- Complete all tasks as set out by the Director of Golf.
- Assist the Merchandise Manager when needed.
- Provide First-Class service and knowledge in all aspects of the golf operation.
- Working hours consistent, allowing for teaching, and play.
- Shifts can include day and evening hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays typical of the golf industry and season.
- Qualifications

- Previous Country Club and or Golf Club experience preferred.
- Teaching accreditation or certification required to teach.
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Tournament or league organization and an understanding of the Rules of Golf/Handicapping is an asset.
- Some experience with Club technology is required (examples – Jonas POS and Tee Management, Golf Genius, Golf Canada, Foresight GC Quad etc…)
- Ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner, and maintain effective working relationships with members, co-workers and club management.

- Compensation
- Annual Salary range for this position is $49,000 to 52,000
