Job Summary

Earl Grey Golf Club is currently in search of an Apprentice/Associate Golf Professional to join our team for the upcoming 2024 season and beyond.

Become a part of something extraordinary in Calgary!  Earl Grey Golf Club will be hosting the 2024 LPGA CPKC Women’s Open, and you will play an integral role in the success of this prestigious event.

Position Concept: Reporting directly to the Head Golf Professional.

Responsibilities

• Member Services Manager:

 - Leading and managing our Member Services team of over 25 employees.

-  Handling the hiring, training, and scheduling of all Member Services employees.

 - Overseeing the back shop and driving range operations, including managing our brand new fleet of golf carts.

• Providing an exceptional level of member service.

• Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

• Member engagement through teaching and playing.

• Assisting with Junior Programming and lessons.

• Golf instruction for all levels.

• Experience with Jonas Inventory Management, Foretees Tee Sheet software, and Golf Genius is an asset.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

• Maintaining a well-respected and professional image within the club, the industry, and the community.

Qualifications

• PGA of Canada member in good standing.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Outgoing and energetic personality, highly motivated, with a strong desire to grow as a Golf Professional.

• Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment.

• Strong team member focused on improving the club daily.

Compensation

Earl Grey Golf Club offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with the experience of the selected candidate. This 9-month position includes the following benefits:
