APPLE CREEK GOLF COURSE is an 18 Hole Public golf facility located just 5 minutes north of Airdrie. Our Links Style layout offers 5 sets of tee decks to suit the golfer of all abilities. Our facility has approximately 100 Adult members and 70 Junior members. We play host to a wide variety of public players, corporate and charity tournaments each year.
We have a very successful Arcade with over 60+ games, located over two floors of fun. Our restaurant is extremely busy with golfers, families, birthday parties and team fundraisers.
This diversity in clientele will provide the successful candidate the opportunity to see all facets of the golf industry in a fast paced environment.

- Job Summary
- Apple Creek Golf Course is now accepting resumes for the position of Apprentice / Assistant / Associate Professional for the 2025 season and beyond. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, personable, energetic and looking to gain valuable experience in all aspects of the golf industry in this pivotal role, while developing long lasting relationships with our members and guests. They will report to the Director of Golf and be an instrumental part of the team.
- Responsibilities

- Pro Shop upkeep, cleanliness and organization – merchandise displays
- Outside Services team when needed
- Pro Shop services – answering phones, booking tee times, checking in players
- Tee Sheet Management
- Understand and Monitor Pace of Play
- Grow our Teaching and Coaching platform
- Club Fitting
- Assist with tournament operations, league play and the Junior Program
- Devote time to improving their own game and playing with members of all skill levels
- Club repair
- Qualifications

- Member in good standing with the PGA of Canada
- A passion and knowledge for the game of golf
- 3-5 years’ experience in the golf industry would be an asset, but not necessary.
- Abilities to train and supervise the Outside Services Team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess a strong background in friendly, customer service
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to thrive and succeed with team members of all ages and skill levels
- Excellent organization, time management, multi-tasking skills
- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of Tee-On POS and inventory controls
- Compensation

- $3,500 to $4,500 / month
- Lesson Revenue 80% - Very busy – Potential to earn up to $10,000+
