Course Overview: Nurture A Growth Mindset

As a golf professional, success is not just about technical skills; it also involves cultivating self-awareness and embracing a growth mindset. This course explores how these two factors can play a crucial role in your personal and professional development. Industry research, including insights from top Canadian golf professionals, has consistently shown that those who invest time and effort into improving their self-awareness and growth mindset tend to make smarter decisions, develop skills more efficiently, build stronger relationships, and ultimately lead more fulfilling and successful lives (Robinson, 2017, 2018).

Nurture A Growth Mindset is an asynchronous online course designed to help you harness these essential qualities. This course is part of our Career Literacy series and was created and is facilitated by Dr. Emma Stodel, an educator committed to fostering meaningful learning experiences that catalyze personal, professional, and organizational growth.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, learners will:

  • Understand the importance of self-awareness and how nurturing a growth mindset can lead to success in both personal and professional contexts.
  • Assess their current levels of self-awareness and growth mindset.
  • Utilize practical strategies to develop and strengthen self-awareness and a growth mindset.

Evaluation

To successfully complete this course, learners must:

  1. Complete the course content.
  2. Complete the final knowledge check quiz, achieving a minimum score of 70%.

Learners are allowed up to three attempts to pass the quiz. A minimum score of 70% is required to earn credit for this course. If the learner does not pass after three attempts, they will receive a grade of "Not Yet" and will need to retake the course at a discounted rate (50% off the original registration fee).

Refund Policy

  • Full refund available within 7 days of registration.
  • Half refund available within 30 days of registration.
  • No refund after 30 days of registration.

Note:

  • Learners who are 50% or more through the course will receive no refund.
  • Learners who receive a failing grade will receive no refund.
