PGA of Ottawa Playing Ability Test
Mississippi Golf Club – Monday, July 28, 2025 (18 holes)

This Playing Ability Test will be run in conjunction with the PGA of Senior Championship and tee times will begin once the Tour field has teed off. Approximate tee time is 2:00 PM

This PGA of Ottawa Playing Ability Test has a maximum of nine (6) available spots and will be taken on a first come first served basis and reserved for PGA Ottawa Zone Applicants only, until June 1, 2025. 

Registration deadline is July 21, 2025.

Male Applicants

Male < 49 years old – course rating plus     9    
Male > 50 years old – course rating plus    11

Male <49 – Rating 68.7, 6019 Yards - Target Score = 78
Male >50 – Rating 68.7, 6019 Yards - Target Score = 80

Female Applicants

Female < 49 years old – course rating plus 13
Female > 50 years old – course rating plus 15

Female <49 – Rating 69.8, 5274 Yards - Target Score = 83
Female >50 – Rating 69.8, 5274 Yards - Target Score = 85

Applicants who are successful will be sent by email the Apprentice Professional application package.  Completed packages must be submitted no later than 30 days after completing the PAT.

The PGA of Ottawa reserves the right without notice to change/adjust the number of spots available based on time of year weather and interest.  The PGA of Ottawa reserves the right without notice to adjust the format based on time of year and weather.
