PGA Atlantic Playing Ability Test – Island Open Round 2
Belvedere Golf Club, Charlottetown, PEI – August 21st, 2022 (Round 2 of 2 Round Event)

 

This Playing Ability Test will be held in conjunction with the Island Open at the Belvedere Golf Club.

 

  • You will be responsible for the PAT Fee which is for the second round. You must also have registered for the PAT Round 1.
  • You will be included in the draw for the 2nd round if your PAT Round 1 attempt was unsuccessful … a separate sign-up and fee is required.  
  • You must sign up for both rounds. If  you are successful in Round 1, a refund will be issued for the second PAT registration (Round 2) and you will not be included in the draw for Round 2. 

 

The tournament entry fee for the event has been waived and you are not eligible for prizes. You will likely be mixed in with the amateur field of the tournament.

 

This PGA of Canada Atlantic Playing Ability Test has a maximum of 6 available spots and will be taken on a first come first served basis. These may change based on availability therefore please sign up early.

 

Register and Pay $150.00 plus HST by August 12th, 2022.

 

Male Applicants

Male < 49 years old – course rating plus 9    
Male > 50 years old – course rating plus 11

Male <49 – Rating 71.8, 6494 Yards - Target Score = 81
Male >50 – Rating 71.8, 6494 Yards - Target Score = 83

 

Applicants who are successful will be sent by email the Apprentice Professional application package.  Completed packages must be submitted no later than 30 days after completing the PAT.

 

The PGA of Canada Atlantic reserves the right without notice to change/adjust the number of spots available based on time of year, weather and interest.  The PGA of Canada Atlantic reserves the right without notice to adjust the format based on time of year and weather.

 

You will be expected to follow the code of professional conduct and abide by the guidelines of the PGA of Canada Atlantic Tournament Program.
