Course Overview: Career Literacy Part 2: Get Your Goal Job

Get Your Goal Job is the second course in our Career Literacy series, designed to equip you with the practical tools and strategies needed to successfully land your dream job. Created and facilitated by Dr. Emma Stodel, an educator passionate about enhancing performance and fostering professional growth, this course focuses on empowering you to take the next step in your career journey.

In Part 2: Get Your Goal Job, you will learn how to craft a compelling resume and cover letter, refine your interview techniques, and develop effective strategies for negotiating your job offer. Whether you're looking to move up in your current field or transition into a new role, this course provides the essential skills to ensure you stand out to potential employers and secure the position you desire.

  • Analyze the career trajectories of some of Canada’s most respected Head Golf and Teaching Professionals
  • Identify your strengths and passions and confirm you are on a career path that aligns with them
  • Develop a career map
  • Create an action plan to advance your career
Evaluation

To successfully complete this course, learners must:

  1. Complete the course content.
  2. Complete the final knowledge check quiz, achieving a minimum score of 70%.

    Learners are allowed up to three attempts to pass the quiz. A minimum score of 70% is required to earn credit for this course. If the learner does not pass after three attempts, they will receive a grade of "Not Yet" and will need to retake the course at a discounted rate (50% off the original registration fee).
Refund Policy 
  • Full refund available within 7 days of registration.
  • Half refund available within 30 days of registration.
  • No refund after 30 days of registration.

Note:

  • Learners who are 50% or more through the course will receive no refund.
  • Learners who receive a failing grade will receive no refund.
