Course Overview: Career Literacy Part 1: Map Your Career Path

The most successful professionals in any field didn’t reach the top by chance—they had a plan. They set clear career goals aligned with their aspirations and followed a strategic path to achieve them. As a PGA of Canada professional, understanding the pathways available to you and creating a roadmap for your career is crucial for long-term success. In Career Literacy Part 1: Map Your Career Path, you will learn how to design your own personalized career map and develop an actionable plan to achieve your professional goals.

This course is the first part of the Career Literacy two-part series, aimed at helping you build the foundation for a successful career in the golf industry and is created by Emma Stodel, an educator committed to fostering meaningful learning experiences that catalyze personal, professional, and organizational growth.

  • Analyze the career trajectories of some of Canada’s most respected Head Golf and Teaching Professionals
  • Identify your strengths and passions and confirm you are on a career path that aligns with them
  • Develop a career map
  • Create an action plan to advance your career
Evaluation

To successfully complete this course, learners must:

  1. Complete the course content.
  2. Complete the final knowledge check quiz, achieving a minimum score of 70%.

    Learners are allowed up to three attempts to pass the quiz. A minimum score of 70% is required to earn credit for this course. If the learner does not pass after three attempts, they will receive a grade of "Not Yet" and will need to retake the course at a discounted rate (50% off the original registration fee).
Refund Policy 
  • Full refund available within 7 days of registration.
  • Half refund available within 30 days of registration.
  • No refund after 30 days of registration.

Note:

  • Learners who are 50% or more through the course will receive no refund.
  • Learners who receive a failing grade will receive no refund.
