EXECUTIVE PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR AWARD GUIDELINES
- Demonstration of outstanding qualities of leadership
- Demonstration of outstanding management
- Maintain a substantial record of service to the Association and the game of golf
- Well-regarded as a role model to other PGA of Canada Executive Professionals
EXECUTIVE PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR AWARD CRITERIA
- Overall performance as an Executive Professional
- Service to the Zone and the Association
- Leadership ability
- Image and ability to inspire fellow Executive Professionals
- Promotion and growth of the game of golf
Selection Process
- The nomination should be based on a nominee's entire past experience as an Executive Professional
- Achievements during the past year should be emphasized
- National Awards Committee will select a recipient based on the criteria
Eligible Categories
- Must have won this award in your Zone for the current year to be eligible to win this National award
- Eligible Class “A” Membership Categories: General Manager, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Director of Golf**, Manager of Golf Operations**, Pro-Manager** and Director of Operations**
Apprentice professionals will not be eligible.
**To be eligible for the Club Professional of the Year Award, one must be responsible for the Golf Operations at a golf course. If the nominee is responsible and oversees the entire operation including areas like Food & Beverage, Course Maintenance, and Administration in addition to Golf Operations, they should be nominated for the Executive Professional of the Year Award.
