I’ve been fortunate to have a very active professional and community life. Professionally, I have over two decades of C-Suite senior management experience with the Ontario Northland Transportation Commission as well as over a decade of operating my own international business development company. Concurrent with these vocations, my community involvement included numerous terms on two school boards, city council and as our region’s Member of Parliament.

As a dedicated lifelong advocate of golf, I have a strong desire to continue my passion toward developing the culture to provide world-class education to members looking to grow their careers in golf. I have enjoyed Golf Ontario’s transition retooling our industry to innovate and accommodate future challenges. Our “Golf for All” program has been designed to broaden the Ontario golf experience to include more youth, more women, more indigenous participation, more adaptive opportunities... generally, more engagement opportunities for minority groups. As a result of my extensive community experience and passion for golf, I was fortunate to be involved in developing the opportunity and becoming an active committee member of our Government Relations Committee. Its function is to create a working partnership with Ontario government departments to enhance this program which is aligned with government mandates to diversify Ontario in terms of equity, diversity and inclusion. We further advanced this initiative in May by hosting a very successful “Golf Day” at Queen’s Park.

I would appreciate your support to continue to offer my previous experience and passion to benefit the PGA of Canada.
